Information the extension accesses
After you select Start recorder, the extension reads the open Teams transcript: its text, speaker or display names, timestamps, start/stop messages, and technical row numbers used to check coverage.
How the information is used
The information is held temporarily in the selected tab, placed in transcript order, and used to create the text file you request. Temporary capture data is cleared when you stop the recorder, refresh or leave the page, or close the tab. A downloaded file remains on your device until you move or delete it.
What is not collected or shared
The developer does not receive, store, sell, share, or transfer transcript information. The extension has no developer server, analytics, advertising, tracking, external service, or remotely hosted executable code. It does not request browsing history or authentication information.
Permissions and your choices
activeTabgives temporary access to the tab you selected after you invoke the extension.scriptingplaces the packaged recorder in that tab so the controls can work.
You control when capture starts, whether auto-capture runs, whether an incomplete transcript is downloaded, and when the recorder stops. Only capture transcripts you are authorized to access.
